Tanzania with a population of about 62 million people is ranking number 4 in Africa continent. Tanzania belongs to income group of lower middle income countries. More than 45% of Tanzania population is children with less than 15 years old.
Tanzania Society of Pediatric Nurses (TSPN) is an association initiated by pediatric nurses from Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar, aimed at building a strong multisectoral network among pediatric nurses, health care providers, and other significant stakeholders involve in child health and wellbeing, through clinical and community services, conducting researches/projects and scientific conferences. Therefore, TSPN by collaborating with Tanzania government and other children stakeholders is mobilizing and utilizing resources to make Tanzania the safest area for children to live.
